life is unfair. you have people that work the hardest and will never even come close to this level of playing. and you have some, like Sarah Chang, who were born with an incredible gift and could nail paganini concerto just like that, like its nothing... at 12!!!

I learned about 20 year ago DO NOT compete in a fiddle contest against a 12 year old girl in, even if her intonation is off I will not place against her cuteness unless you are her younger brother. there were only 3 contestants: her, some local fellow ....and me. so I did get 3rd prize. so Sarah was 11 12 here. Hazzah lady. my fiddle tunes would make her yawn.

to reach perfection at such a young age.. and I don't mean just technically, but with so much gorgeous phrasing.. only Picasso would understand what its like. Midori too
